Only One

FRIDAY:

it was a rainy morning and thank Him for it's friday again..
i waited for my next class outside the lecture hall and i was alone..
neither elise-chan nor mikan-chan was around and i was surprised for they were the first ones who are present everytime in this class, but my thoughts were a mistake. ryuu...well, he's i don't know. maybe he's late.

the class before us was dismissed early and i went in. after 5 minutes, i saw ryuu sat beside me and saw his radiant face, he is so happy. i can sense it. he greeted me with a warm smile and a tap on the shoulder.

'its raining so hard outside, dude...and i'm so loving it' he grinned

'yeah, i know you love the rain'

he nodded and started listening to his ipod while i simply stared at him for the whole time. elise-chan and mikan-chan were still not around, they have still 10 minutes before the class start.

ryuu looked at me and smiled..

'i might melt if you keep on staring at me'

'i'm used to this...staring at you all the time'

'are you making fun of me?' he asked

'pardon?'

he didn't answer but he was just looking at me too.

'i'm sorry' i uttered and looked at the board

'oh, c'mon! i was just kidding!' he chuckled and pinched my cheek, 'i was just kidding, dude..no need to say sorry.'

i sighed. he placed his elbow on my desk and his chin on his hand.

'i have decided on what will i wear for the cosplay with rei' i saw his eyes flickered.

'really? that's good then, i'm looking forward to see you in your cosplay outfit...'

'sure! i'll upload the pictures immediately after the convention' he smiled.

'alright...hope you enjoy'

'i will, of course i'm with her again. geez, i am really really getting excited about this!' he chuckled, 'mm, you can come too if you want.'

'thanks but no thanks--'

'oh, yeah...we are busy with our business matters.'

'right.'

'don't worry, after this, i assure you that we will spend our time together again.' he smiled.

and what's with that actually? trying hard to make me so jealous about ms. rei? was that the point he was trying to make me wonder about? To make me feel this jealousy and ugh, i don't know..i really don't. and i think i'm really getting stupid with this shit.

'prince-kun! ryuu-kun! sorry we're late! i hate him being so late!' mikan-chan exclaimed as she sat the next seat after me.

'who's who?' ryuu asked.

'his professor!' elise-chan chuckled.

'oh, i see. it's alright as long as you didn't skip this class' he chuckled.

'huh?! what's your point!?' mikan exclaimed...again.

'it's their favorite subject, right...dude?' he said as he nagged my arms.

i simply nodded as they were so hyper about their conversation. the class started and i didn't listen to the lesson. i was just...just staring at him again. i can't help myself. maybe, ryuu doesn't love me anymore. maybe he has realized that he still prefers girls rather than a guy like me. a stupid spoiled brat guy. maybe he was really never meant for me.

STUPID PRINCE. what makes you take it so damn hard?

a tear rolled down on my cheek. i hurriedly went outside and to the comfort room. i washed my face and stared on the mirror. the door opened and i saw ryuu.

'the lesson for today was kinda boring, isn't it?' he gently closed the door.

'It is' i said as i wiped my face. he went beside me and looked at the mirror. 'you look thinner this time...'

'am i?'

he nodded and faced me to him. 'are you in a diet?' he chuckled.

'i have lost my appetite.'

'o..ow....too bad. i'll tell you what, dude...that's not good.'

'i don't care, really. it doesn't matter.'

'it does.'

'so...?'

'so you must eat! tsk...if i could just have the time to be with you again, i'll probably make you eat a whole heck of a lot. but i can't.' he shook his head, sighed and look at me,'i hate meetings and projects. Mm, i know now! I'll treat you on the dishes you wanted to eat. Ok?' he smiled at me.

'i will.' there's still hope in me after i said those words. maybe i was just paranoid? Or maybe not. Maybe...maybe...

'good...' he grinned.

'so, let's eat together...later?' i asked hesistantly.

'mm' he paused for a while, 'a have a lunch meeting with rei after our class. i still need to fetch her in her university. we'll talk about the last plans for the convention Maybe we can, next week? or the week after next week? I don't know' he chuckled. 'im sorry, dude'

i faked my smiled, 'i see...'

'let's go..we spent so much time in here.' he smiled and he went outside the comfort room.

you really are stupid prince. you shouldn't have expected that he will come with you...again. and simply shows with the 'dude' thing.
